MYSTIC, CONNECTICUT, USA -- Of course this is an "educational destination" that schoolchildren get bussed into by the thousands, but the Mystic Aquarium is also a lot of fun. The Aquarium and IFE's unique research and engineering capabilities, coupled with affiliated academic institutions, federal government labs and other research and educational organizations, make them a leader in ocean exploration, marine archaeology, and public scientific education.
