For a small fee, parents can enroll their children in a half-day session - morning, afternoon or evening - where the kids participate in a number of physical and thought-provoking activities. Parents may also accompany their children who want to "visit" the Kids Club - this is a complimentary offering to our resort guests. In addition to the Enchanted Rock Kids Club, we also have the Spider Rock Arcade - named after a rock formation in Texas thought to hide the riches of an old abandoned Spanish Copper mine. No matter what time of day, Buckin' Bronco and his sidekick, Lone Star, offer round the clock activities. Guided by our staff, each day will have it's own theme. Children will find themselves at a Hawaiian Luau one day and in the midst of a Mexican Fiesta the next. Indoor Fun Board games (Candy Land, Checkers, Connect Four, Sorry, Memory, etc.) charades, BINGO, musical chairs, Twister, scavenger hunts, ring toss, card games, beanbag toss, and much more! Outdoor Fun Tennis, water volleyball, parachute games, obstacle course, jump rope, scoop ball, hula hoops, relay races, potato sack races, water balloons, and much more! Arts and Crafts Coloring, painting, watercolor art, fuse bead art, jewelry making, mobiles, Woodsies, picture frames, visors, paper mosaics, windsocks, lanterns, key chains, puppets, news paper fashion shows, and much more! Schedule of activities may change due to weather, special events, or by children's request. Enchanted Rock Basics Guests between the ages of 5 and 12 may enroll in our four-hour sessions. Sessions are limited to 4 hours per day, and 12 hours per week. The Enchanted Rock Kids Club limits enrollment to ensure the comfort and safety of all participants. The Enchanted Rock Kids Club recommends making reservations 24 hours in advance to guarantee the proper child/staff ratio. Parents/Guardians who have children participating in sessions are required to use the Enchanted Rock Kids Club paging system. Also, A photo ID will be required to pick up children. Kids should wear comfortable, temperature appropriate play clothes, tennis shoes/sandals, and sunscreen. You may also bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes. More Fun For Kids In addition to the Kids Club, kids of all ages can enjoy roasting S'mores (a graham cracker chocolate marshmallow creation) over a roaring fire at The Lost Quarry Pools Firepit. This activity takes place nightly from dusk until 9 p.m. (weather permitting). The resort takes full advantage of our proximity to Six Flags Fiesta Texas -- less than two miles away. Beginning Memorial Day, on the weekends, the resort hosts a "Looney Toons Breakfast" in our primary dining areas. For a set period of time, Bugs Bunny & Friends tour the indoor and outdoor dining areas and visit with children. Photo opps abound! Practicalities -- Westin Kid's Club Upon check-in, children receive a welcoming amenity including beverage container that may be refilled at no charge at every meal throughout the family's visit.
