Emma Wood State Beach Campground (near Ventura). 61 sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: chemical toilets, adjacent to Pacific Ocean (805-654-4610).

Evergreen RV Park (in Oxnard). 41 sites for recreational vehicles. Amenities: laundry, day room, hookups (805-485-1936).

Faria County Campground (near Ventura). 42 primitive sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: fire rings, adjacent to Pacific Ocean (805-654-3951).

Foster Park County Campground (between Ventura & Ojai). 28 primitive sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: barbeques, fire rings (805-654-3951).

Hobson County Campground (near Ventura). 31 primitive sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: fire rings, adjacent to Pacific Ocean (805-654-3951).

Lake Casitas Recreation Area (between Ventura & Ojai). 480 sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: fire rings, picnic tables, playground, boat rentals, some hookup sites. (805-649-2233).

Lake Piru Recreation Area (between Fillmore & Los Angeles). 247 sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: fire rings, picnic tables, boat ramp, some hookup sites (805-521-1500).

Mountain View RV Park (in Santa Paula). 31 sites for recreational vehicles. Amenities: swim spa, hookup sites (805-933-1942).

McGrath State Beach Campground (in Oxnard). 174 sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: fire rings, picnic tables, near beach and Pacific Ocean (805-654-4610).

Oak Park Campground (near Moorpark). 55 sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: barbeques, fire rings, picnic tables, some hookup sites (805-527-6886).

Point Mugu State Park and Beach Campgrounds (Big Sycamore Canyon/Thornhill Broome Beach) (between Malibu & Oxnard). 132 sites for tents and recreational vehicles. Amenities: picnic tables, near to beach and Pacific Ocean (818-880-0350)

Rincon County Campground (near Ventura). 112 sites for recreational vehicles. Amenities: chemical toilets, adjacent to Pacific Ocean (805-654-3951).
