This encyclopedic county by county guide lists thousands of pooch friendly places (some that even allow canines to run leash free), including parks, beaches, lodging, restaurants and tourist attractions. Each entry is rated on a scale of one to four "paws" which gives the relative fun quotient from a dog's point of view. Also included are directions to the many listed spots.
