I've often thought a guide to casino RVing would be a good idea. Little did I know that Jane Kenny had already written it. Obviously a lot of other folks thought it was a good idea - this is the second edition of the book and Kenny is working on the third edition as we speak. Part of the reason is the popularity of the subject matter, the other is Kenny wants to be sure her books reflect the latest changes in the RV opportunities offered at gaming establishments. This guide is obviously well researched and covers casinos across the Untied States. Casino campgrounds offer RVers modern upscale facilities and amenities at prices often less than typical campgrounds - some even offer free hookups! Many casinos also allow boondocking (overnight parking in their parking lots). As most are open 24 hours a day, there's plenty of overnight security available and the RVer gets a quiet, hassle free, complimentary place to stop for the night. Casino Camping includes maps for locating casinos, descriptions of each casino and campground, discounts available, detailed driving directions, and parking information for RVs. Chapters include: Blacktop Boondocking Tips; How to be a Savvy Casino Discounter; Casino Comps Are for Travelers Too; What's the Difference Between Gaming and Gambling?; For Some, Gambling Is Not an Option. States Covered include: Arizona; California; Colorado; Connecticut; Delaware; Florida; Idaho; Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Louisiana; Michigan; Minnesota; Mississippi; Missouri; Montana; Nevada; New jersey; New Mexico; New York; North Carolina; North Dakota; Oklahoma; Oregon; South Dakota; Washington; West Virginia; Wisconsin. |
