Pesto is an amazingly versatile sauce to have on hand. I make lots and make freeze it in small containers, (or even an ice cube tray) for use at a moment's notice. Use pesto on pasta, over grilled chicken or fish, or as a seasoning agent in soups and salad dressings. Pesto has strong flavors, so a little can go a long way. It's easy to find ready made pesto in stores, but it is rather pricey. Why pay more? It's quick and easy to make at home if you have a food processor. |
