Review:

This guide is a perfect take-along companion for those who love to camp. Texas, with it's abundant outdoor recreation opportunities and camping options, is filled with more than 100 state and federal parks, lakes, and forests.

This handy guide alphabetically lists the facilities and includes information on how to get there, along with detailed maps and locations of campsites, parking, restrooms, fees, reservations, and specifics for obtaining additional details about each location.

Included with the book is a full-size Texas road map, magnificent color photos and concise, useful descriptions. In addition, the book includes two-color maps, charts, travel sources, and an index. I recommend you pick up a copy at your local bookstore and make plans to visit the highways and back roads of one of America's most exciting states.

Happy trails, pardner!
