Jamaica. Endless beaches, crystal-blue water, sports galore and fabulous food! All of this can be found at Superclubs, Jamaica's super-inclusive resorts.
What does Super-inclusive mean to lucky vacationers? It means that everything is included. That's right, once you arrive at Superclubs, you need never carry your wallet or even think about money. Now that's relaxation!
All activities (and there are plenty to choose from) are included. You can sail, windsurf, scuba dive, snorkel, play tennis or golf and it's all included. Ditto food and beverages. Even tipping is not allowed!
And don't think that just because they're included that the food and beverages are a second thought at Superclubs. For eleven years running, the resorts have dominated the Jamaica culinary arts competition, including capturing the top "Chef of the Year" award for four out of nine years.
Jamaican cuisine has many influences, including the Spanish invaders of the fifteenth century and the British who later drove the Spaniards out of the island. Tropical fruits, exotic spices and fresh vegetables, meats and seafoods all have an important place in Jamaican cuisine.
We asked the folks at Superclubs to share some of their favorite recipes for Jamaican cuisine and otherwise. They've come up with some pretty impressive fare. Click the link in the Related Recipes section below. Enjoy!
