CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, USA -- Every Sunday from late April until late December Chattanooga's southside Cricket Pavillion plays host to the Chattanooga Market. A delightful way to spend the afternoon, the market is part Farmer's Market, part arts and artisan show, and all fun.

There's lots to do and see here including cooking demonstrations, live music, good food and all kinds of vendors selling hand-made goods -- everything from fine arts to handmade soaps to furniture, baked goods, crafts and more.

Chattanoogans and tourists alike love wandering through the markets aisles, as you never know what kind of treasures you may find. Our favorite booth was manned by 12 year old entrepreneur Joseph Brown, who got a book and taught himself how to tie fishing flies. The proud, enterprising pre-teen now sells his hand made flies and fly jewelry at the market each Sunday alongside his Dad who makes some exquisite Adirondack style furniture. All kids should be this ambitious, this smart and this cool.

The Chattanooga market offers free admission and free parking. Find it at 1826 Carter Street in Chattanooga. For more information call 423-266-9270 or visit www.ChattanoogaMarket.com.
