Part of Rio Nuevo Publisher's fabulous Cook West series that celebrates the ingredients of the west, this book deals with America's favorite condiment - salsa. This small book packs a powerfully eclectic collection of salsa recipes using both traditional ingredients like chiles, tomatillos and tomatoes, as well as putting a new twist on the theme with creative salsas with ingredients like watermelon, dill, peanuts, and basil.
There are over 50 recipes in all that will provide flavorful accompaniments for a variety of foods. Chapters include: Traditional Salsas; Fiery Chile Salsas; Pico de Gallo and Other Chunky Salsas; Fruit Salsas.
