Review: The title of this book pretty much says it all. You have a HUGE variety of pie and tart recipes to choose from -- everything from classic favorites to new takes on an old theme. There are full color photos of most of the recipes and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Each recipe comes with three variations, so it's sure you'll never run out of pie and tart recipes to try.

In addition to recipes the author gives instructions on everything related to making pies and tarts -- equipment, ingredients and how-to techniques, plus basic crust, topping, and glaze recipes.

Chapters include: Pies and Tarts Basics; Classic Pies and tarts; Fruit Pies and Tarts; Cream, Custard, and Chiffon Pies; Mini Pies and Tartlets; Individual Pies and Turnovers; Cobblers, Strudels, and Crumble Pies; Special Occasion Pies.
