It's somewhat ironic that Barry Bluestein and Kevin Morrissey, so well known for their fabulous 99% Fat-Free series of cookbooks, would write an encyclopedic book on cookies. Barry credits it to his love of baking, which has run in his family for generations. A cookie addict's dream come true, there's so much to choose from you won't know where to start. As with all Bluestein and Morrissey books, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The author's notes on each recipe will help to narrow down your quest for the prefect cookie. There's also eight tempting pages of full color photos. Comprehensive beyond the call of duty, there's enough recipes here to keep a colony of bakers happy of years. Chapters include:
