Camping
in the San Bernardino National Forest
Developed campgrounds have various
services and facilities. Most open in May and close in October or November. Some
are open all year. The National Recreation Reservation Service handles reservations
for most campgrounds. Some are first-come, first-served, and others reserve through
the ranger station. Be sure to book early for holidays and weekends. Reservations
may be made up to 240 days in advance. Campground prices and seasonal dates are
subject to change. Holiday weekends fees may be higher. There may be a charge
for extra vehicles.
Family campgrounds generally have vault or flush toilets, fire rings and/or stoves, tables, and parking spaces. Drinking water and showers are available in certain locations.
